BNP won’t be allowed to hold programme on Jan 5: Hanif

Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today warned that BNP would not be allowed to hold any programme on January 5 protesting the 2014 national elections.

“People will not allow BNP to take to the streets,” he said adding that those who kill people to thwart election have no rights to hold any programme.

He was addressing a joint meeting organised by AL’s Dhaka city (north) unit at Institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in Dhaka, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
