BNP demo over bail denial to Khaleda Jul 5

BNP has called for countrywide demonstration for Thursday protesting the denial of bail to Khaleda Zia in a murder case of Comilla.

BNP Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the programme at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka.

As part of the programme, BNP will stage its protest rally in front of its central office around 11:00am on July 5, Fakhrul said.

The party will also observe nationwide token hunger strike on July 9 demanding treatment and unconditional release of Khaleda Zia immediately.
