BNP conspiring in London: Nasim

Presidium member of the ruling Awami League Mohammad Nasim today said that BNP is currently conspiring in London to grab power in the next elections.

“They never did a thing in their life without conspiracy,” Nasim told reporters after a meeting of the ruling 14-party alliance at party president’s Dhanmondi office.

“The BNP is conspiring with international quarters to grab power, like they did in 2001. But we will not allow them to be successful this time,” he said.

On the note of next parliamentary elections, Nasim said the alliance hopes BNP will take part in the polls in accordance with the constitution.

“We have found confidence in this Election Commission and the roadmap it has laid down to the next parliamentary election,” Nasim added.
