AL distributes joint, organising secys’ duties

Awami League Central Working Committee and the party's advisory council today distributed duties of the party’s joint and organising secretaries.

The joint meeting was held at Gono Bhaban with Awami League President Sheikh Hasina in the chair. It was the party's first joint meeting after the party's 20th triennial council held on October 22 and 23 in Dhaka.

According to the decision of the meeting, Joint Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif will look after the parties organisational activities in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, while Dipu Moni in Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions, Jahangir Kabir Nanak in Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and Abdur Rahman in Barisal and Khulna divisions.

Besides, Organising secretary Ahmed Hossain was made in-charge of Sylhet division while Misbah Uddin Siraj of Mymensingh division, BM Mozammel Haque of Rangpur division, AFM Bahauddin Nasim of Barisal division, AKM Enamul Haque Shamim of Chittagong division, Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan of Khulna division, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury of Rajshahi division and Mahbiul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel of Dhaka division.
