2 top BCL leaders expelled

Ruling Awami League’s student front Bangladesh Chhatra League has expelled its two top leaders on charge of breaching the party rules.

The leaders are: general secretaries of BCL Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Wari thana units Md Sabbir Hossain and Md Ashiqur Rahman.

BCL central executive committee took the decision at an emergency meeting last night, a press release floated today said.

The expulsion order came four days after a Bangla daily published a photo showing the duo were carrying firearms during a clash centering an eviction drive at Gulistan.
