Sadeque elected VP of Int'l confce on adult edn
Education Minister ASHK Sadeque was unanimously elected one of the vice-presidents of the 5-day international conference on adult education which in Hamburg, Germany under the aegis of UNESCO, according to a message received here, reports BSS. Sadeque was elected vice-president at the first plenary session of the conference held under the chairmanship of Prof Rita Sussmuth, Speaker of German Parliament and president of the conference. With the election of Sadeque as one of the vice-presidents opportunities would be created for Bangladesh in making meaningful transactions in the business of the conference. Besides presenting the key-note speech by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a six-member Bangladesh delegation headed by the education minister is participating the conference.
