Dutch minister due in city today
Dutch Development Assistance Minister Pronk arrives in Dhaka today on an 8-day visit to Bangladesh, reports UNB. During the visit, the Netherlands minister will hold official talks with a Bangladesh delegation led by Finance Minister Shah A M S Kibria. He will also meet the ministers for Foreign Affairs, LGRD and Cooperatives, Commerce and Industries, Water Resources, Planning, Education and Health and Family Welfare. The Dutch minister will visit the BRAC project at Sreepur, Grameen Bank and FAP-20 project in Tangail, Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge project at Bhuapur and CDSP project at Char Majid in Noakhali district. He is expected to pay courtesy call on the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Begum Khaleda Zia and join meetings and workshops with various NGOs working in Bangladesh.
