Rail service on Dhaka-Narayanganj route to resume from August 1
Rail operations on Dhaka-Narayanganj route will resume from August 1, Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said today.
The minister made the announcement at Chasara Rail Station in Narayanganj after visiting the route.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Rail operations were suspended on the route since December to facilitate the works of the Padma Bridge rail link project.
Under the project, three railway lines are being built between Kamalapur and Gendaria, and installation of one of the lines has already been completed.
