Around 10 years later, on February 8, 1990, the sixth CUCSU election was held. In that election, the joint panel of all student groups won. The vice president was Nazim Uddin of Jatiya Chhatra League and the general secretary was Azim Uddin Ahmad of the Samajtantrik Chhatra Front.
