Perpetrators behind 'terror, anarchy' to be arrested
Perpetrators who are behind "terror and anarchy" in the country will be arrested, said Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today.
"There is a demand from people to nab the perpetrators of terror and anarchy in the country. Police sometimes conduct raids to arrest them, but those who are giving the orders would also be nabbed, if necessary," he said.
Hasan was addressing as the chief guest at the party's "peace rally" at Fatepur High School ground in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram this afternoon, reports our staff correspondent.
The AL leader said BNP cannot wage movement, but it can only create chaos.
"We cannot allow anyone to create chaos in the name of politics. Their (BNP's) aim of the march across the country is to spread terror and anarchy," he said.
BNP announced the march programme at union level to bring back those who went into hiding after creating anarchy in 2013-14 and 2015, and the party wants to conduct arson attack and anarchy once again, added Hasan.
