Inamul Aziz passes away

Inamul Aziz Chowdhury, son of former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Fazlul Halim Chowdhury, died due to cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on June 22.

He was 60.

Inamul, a bankker by profession, left behind his two daughters, mother and three sisters including Prof Sadeka Halim, chairperson of DU sociology department and also former dean of social sciences faculty.

He will be buried today at Banani graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza at the Baitul Aman Jame Masjid, Dhanmondi-7, after Zuhr prayers.
