Siblings found dead in Naogaon

Police have recovered the bodies of two siblings from their residence in Porsha upazila of Naogaon district yesterday.

The deceased are Nur Mohammad, 55, and his sister Rezia Begum, 58, of Purbobari village under Tetulia union in the upazila.

According to local sources, neighbours noticed a bad odour coming from the house yesterday morning, and informed the police.

Upon arrival, law enforcers from Porsha Police Station recovered the siblings' decomposed bodies. The bodies were sent to Naogaon General Hospital for autopsy.

The exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy, said Mahbub Alam, a sub-inspector of the police station.
