Remain ready with relevant and modern training
Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman has called on all members of the Regiment of Artillery and the Army Air Defence Corps (AADFC) to enhance their preparedness through modern and relevant training to effectively face 21st-century challenges.
He was addressing the 44th Annual Commanders' Conference of the Regiment of Artillery and the 1st Annual Commanders' Conference of the AADFC, held yesterday at the Artillery Centre and School (AC&S) in Halishahar Cantonment, Chattogram, the ISPR said in a statement.
Waker was received by senior officers upon his arrival, including the General Officer Commanding of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, the GOC of the 24th Infantry Division and Area Commander of Chattogram, and the Commandant of AC&S.
In his address, the army chief reflected on the proud legacy of the Regiment of Artillery and the Army Air Defence Corps, acknowledging their significant contributions to the nation's defence.
Waker also discussed technological development, research, professional growth, and future planning within the corps.
