Prof Zahir Uddin Ahmed relieved

Prof Zahir Uddin Ahmed is relieved from his position of the director of students counselling and guidance at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

In an order signed by Registrar Mohd Ishfaqul Hussain circulated yesterday, Prof Zahir was relieved on the ground of illness.

Prof Amina Pervin of the Social Work Department is appointed as the new director, according to the order.

Prof Amina is the first woman professor to be assigned to this position.
