Pakistan's joint chiefs of staff committee chairman meets army chief

A delegation led by Pakistan's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka yesterday.

In a social media post, the Bangladesh Army said that, besides exchanging greetings, they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in defence and security.

They also exchanged views on enhancing military collaboration through joint training programmes, seminars, and official visits, according to the statement.
