Bullet-hit body recovered in Lohagara

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a man in Lohagara upazila of Chattogram yesterday morning.

The deceased is Nurul Islam, 55, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver from Boro Hatia union under the upazila and father of Shafiqur Rahman, president of ward unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir, said Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Jalil.

Locals found Nurul's body lying beside his auto-rickshaw in Kumiraghona area of Boro Hatia union and informed police, he added.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Chattogram Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
