BNP withdraws temporary expulsion order against Uday Kusum
BNP has withdrawn the temporary expulsion order against its former executive committee member Sathi Uday Kusum Barua, who was removed from party positions on August 31 over allegations of instigating clashes between Chittagong University (CU) students and local residents.
The decision was announced today in a press release signed by BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
According to the statement, "You were previously expelled from the party's primary membership for engaging in activities that were deemed in violation of party discipline. Based on your appeal and subsequent party decision, the expulsion order has now been withdrawn, and your primary membership has been reinstated."
The statement added, "The party expects that from now on, you will adhere to party policies and discipline and contribute to strengthening and revitalising the organisation."
