AL presidium body: Nahid out, Mostafa in

Awami League presidium member Nurul Islam Nahid was dropped from the party's presidium body while ruling party leader Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin was included in the presidium committee.

Nahid, former education minister, was however included in the party's advisory council.

Party's Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi was promoted to organising secretary while Sakhawat Hossain Shafiq was dropped from the post.

Aminul Islam, deputy secretary of publicity and publishing, was promoted to the party's relief and social welfare secretary.

These changes were made in the party's national council in Suhrawardy Udyan.
