3 die as motorbikes collide in Chuadanga

At least three motorcyclists were killed and another was injured as two motorcycles collided in Jafarpur area of Chuadanga yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Tunu Hossain alias Anando, 22, of Chuadanga, Mithu Hossain, 30, of Nurnagar Colonypara, and Shri Mukta Halder, 28, of Sirajganj.

The injured was Roni Hossain, 35, of Rajshahi.

The accident took place around 1:00pm when the two motorcycles collided in front of the Jafarpur Youth Development Department, leaving two bikers dead on the spot, Mahabubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station. Another succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital.
