Firefighters douse flames at Adabor building

Firefighters doused a fire at a building in Dhaka's Adabor around an hour and a half after it broke out. 

The fire, which originated at the basement of an eight-storey building on Road 10, was doused at 1:33pm, Ershad Hossian, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star. 

Seven firefighting units were engaged in fighting the blaze.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
