A ten-day Australian art exhibition began at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the city yesterday, reports BSS. State Minister for Youth, Sports and Cultural Affairs Obaidul Quader inaugurated the exhibition. Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Charles Stuart, Secretary-in-Charge of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Syed Yusuf Hossain and Director General of Shilpakala Academy Shamsuzzaman Khan, among others, were present. Some 54 art works by 14 noted Australian artists are on display at the show.
