Laptop fair in Chittagong kicks off in May
Following the success of the first one, the second Laptop Fair is scheduled to kick off in the port city in the last week of May. The three-day event will be held at the Chittagong Engineers Institution from May 22 and is being organised by Maker Communications. The company have already organised laptop fairs in both Dhaka and Chittagong. Earlier this year a laptop fair was held at Bangladesh China Friendship Convention Centre in Dhaka. At a press breifing, spokesperson of Maker, Mohammad Khan, mentioned that their targeted customer group of the Chittagong fair are HSC students. That is the reason why they have organised the event after the theoretical part of the exam. Replying to a question, he also said that they have plans to organise the laptop fair at different metropolitan cities other than Dhaka and Chittagong. Renowned brands like HP, Acer, Asus, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Dell are taking part in the fair as well as newly launched brand such as Delux and Gatewall.
