<i>Netted By The Bot </i>

The prototype T-34 (C), jointly developed by robot developer tmsuk Co. Ltd. and security company Alacom Co. Ltd., is demonstrated at a press preview in Tokyo on January 22. The prototype T-34 looks like a small wheeled vehicle but is loaded with sensors that detect abnormality in an office building. It can move at speed of a maximum 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) per hour under the command of a person who sees real-time image of where the robot is on the screen of his or her cellphone.Photo: AFP
