Narsingdi FFs declare Mizan 'unwanted'
Narsingdi unit of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad yesterday declared High Court Judge Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan persona non grata (unwanted) in the district.
Abdul Motalib Pathan, district commander of freedom fighters, also demanded his removal from High Court at a press conference at local press club.
Expressing resentment at his recent activities, Pathan said Mizan was 'hatching conspiracy' when the whole country expressed solidarity with the Shahbagh demonstration.
Criminals hacked Rajib, a blogger and activist of the ongoing Shahbagh movement, dead near his house Friday night.
Mizanur on Monday sent photocopies of alleged blog write-ups of slain Rajib regarding religion to other Supreme Court judges in separate envelopes.
