<i>Star</i> -MTB business idea contest kicks off
The fourth edition of The Daily Star- Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) Business Idea Contest started in Chittagong city yesterday.
Thirty teams from 17 leading educational institutions of Chittagong are taking part in the brainstorming competition at two levels--school and university.
Prof Muhammed Sikandar Khan, vice chancellor of East Delta University (EDU) inaugurated the contest on the university's Prabartak More campus at 10:00am.
Drishty, an educational and cultural organisation of Chittagong, is hosting it.
BAWA Girls' High School, Silver Bells Girls' High School, Agrabad Girls' High School, Sunshine Grammar School, Chittagong Govt High School, Collegiate School, Bay View School, Chittagong Grammar School, Kalakakoly School, and Chittagong Govt Girls' High School took part in the first round of the school level competition.
The participating higher education institutions are Chittagong University, Premier University, International Islamic University, Asian University for Women, Independent University Bangladesh, East Delta University, and BGC Trust University.
The final round will be held on February 16.
