10 Hizb-ut Tawhid men held
Police arrested 10 alleged members of Islamist outfit Hizb-ut Tawhid in Toragargh area of the district town last night.
They also arrested books, leaflets and CDs on jihad (Islamic uprising) from their possession.
The arrestees are Mahbub Alam, 24, his wife Mehnaz Parvin, 20, Habibur Rahman, 25, his wife Aklima Aktar, 22, Nasir Uddin, 28, Jamal Uddin, 30, Nur Nabi Riad, 32, Faisal Kabir, 28, Mominul Islam, 33, and Islam Uddin, 35.
