Train engine catches fire
The engine of Kobadak Express caught fire near Sabdarpur Railway Station in Kotchandpur upazila yesterday evening.
Faisal Ahmed, driver of the train, sustained injuries during the incident.
Station master Masudur Rahman Roni said the incident took place at around 6:15pm when the Khulna-bound express train from Rajshahi reached a bridge near the station.
Driver Faisal jumped off the engine cabin after it caught fire. However, no passenger sustained injuries, he said.
