Teachers form human chain
Teachers of non-government colleges formed a human chain, followed by a rally, in front of local press club yesterday to press home their seven-point demand.
Bangladseh College Shikhhak Samity, Chapaianwabganj unit arranged the programme joined by over 200 teachers of different colleges.
At the rally, the speakers criticised the government for giving them only TK 100 as house rent and TK 150 as medical allowance.
They demanded prime minister's intervention to end the discrimination in education sector.
