Lightning kills two

Two people were killed by lightning at Fatehpur Goriali village under Baliadangi upazila yesterday morning while they were fishing in Aman-Dhamon River. The victims were identified as Abdul Karim, 40, son of late Kamed Ali and Harun-Or-Rashid, 15, son of Moidur Rahman of the same village. Officer in-charge of Baliadangi police station said a thunderbolt struck them at about 5:30am leaving them dead on the spot. A UD case was filed with Baliadangi PS.
