Stolen infant yet to be rescued
The eight-day-old boy 'stolen' from the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) is yet to be rescued.
A case was lodged with Kotwali police station and police arrested a man on suspicion Saturday night from Charpara area in the town, police said.
The arrestee was identified as Noor Hossain, 40, son of Abdul Motalab of village Shibpur in Muktagacha upazila of the district.
Hospital sources said, an unidentified woman stole the baby of Shila, 20, wife of Rajob Ali of Jalchatra Aamlitala under Madhupur upazila of Tangail district on Saturday.
