Businessman mugged
Muggers took away Tk 6.5 lakh from a manager of a private company in Mendibag area of the city on Thursday night. Police said Shyamol Babu, manager of Afroz Pipe Industries, was returning to his residence in the city from his Mendibag office by a motorbike along with the amount. Two muggers on a motorbike waylaid Babu in front of nearby Sunhill School at about 8:00pm and snatched the money at gunpoint.
