Abducted man yet to be rescued
Police could not rescue farmer Jamal Mollah who was abducted three days ago for ransom by a gang from Raisar village in Alamdanga of Chuadanga district.
Police however, arrested the fathers of two suspected abductors.
According to police, a group of 8/9 stormed into the house of Habibur Rahman Mollah at about 12.30pm on Wednesday night.
The gang took the family members hostage at gun point and looted cash and valuables.
Then they abducted Habibur's son Jamal Mollah, 39, from the house and demanded Tk 5 lakh ransom for his release.
