Mymensingh road crash kills 1
A man was killed and 14 others were injured as a tempo plunged into a ditch beside Gouripur-Shymganj road at Suryakona in Gouripur upazila of the district yesterday.
The deceased was Iqbal Hossain, 27, son of Kachar Ali of village Kawrat in the upazila.
The accident occurred when a tempo skidded off the road and fell into the roadside ditch as the driver lost control over the steering, killing Iqbal instantly and injuring 14 others at around 2:30pm, said police.
The injured were admitted to Gouripur Upazila Health Complex.
