RU syndicate poll held
Prof Amzad Hossain, dean of Business Studies Faculty, was elected syndicate member from dean category from pro-BNP-Jamaat 'White' panel at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.
Sources said Awami League (AL) and progressive teachers-backed 'Yellow' panel candidate Prof Mamunur Rashid Talukdar, dean of Engineering Faculty, contested Prof Amzad.
