Rice shop staff electrocuted
A rice shop employee was electrocuted in Pahartali area in the port city on Sunday night.
The victim Mohammad Shahjahan, 50, a resident of East Nasirabad area, worked at a rice shop.
Shahjahan came in touch with a live electric wire while he was taking a bathe in his house and got injured, said the deceased's cousin Mohammad Sobhan.
The injured was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
