4 brick kilns fined
A mobile court fined four brick kiln owners Tk 5000 each at Moutala village in Kaliganj upazila yesterday for polluting environment. The convicts are Mir Gousul Azam, Mostafizur Rahman, Abu Taleb and Syed Amir Hamza of the village, said locals. On secret information, executive magistrate Mashruba Ferdousi raided the area and punished the four for burning firewoods at the kilns.
