3 Shibir men arrested
Police arrested three leaders of Islami Chhatra Shibir from their office at Munshipara in the district town on Wednesday.
The arrestees are Shyamnagar upazila unit Shibir secretary Imran Hossain, Debahata unit office secretary Abdul Karim and Kaliganj unit office secretary Aminur Rahman.
According to police, on a tip-off, they raided the Shibir office at about 2pm and arrested the trio while they were holding a secret meeting to create anarchy in the district.
