Man gets life for killing wife

A court here yesterday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment for killing his wife. Convict Anwar Hossain, 35, son of Nur Mohammad of Raihati village in Salanga PS, was also fined Tk 10,000, in default, to suffer six months more in prison for killing Nasima Khatun, 30, daughter of Abu Bakkar. According to the prosecution, Anwar killed Nasima on the night of October 12, 2008 following a family feud.
