Three robbers held
A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police yesterday arrested three alleged robbers and seized firearms and ammunition from their possession in Gabtoli bus terminal area of the capital.
The arrestees were Oli, 35, Biplob, 34, and Sayed, 33.
Acting on a tip off, the police conducted a search in a microbus, carrying a gang of eight robbers, in the area which was going to Banani for a robbery.
They seized a revolver, a shutter-gun, four machetes, six cocktails, 16 rounds of bullets, gun powder from their possession and arrested the three in this connection.
