Dolura border haat set to open on May 1
After missing its first inauguration on April 24, the Dolura border haat on Sunamganj-Meghalaya frontier is finally set to be opened on May 1.
The haat management committees of Bangladesh and India came up with the decision during a meeting on Thursday, said Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner Md Yamin Chowdhury.
To remain open twice a week, this market will be the second of its kind after Bangladesh and India jointly opened the first one at Kalaierchar in Kurigram on July 23 last year.
