Jubo League man stabs BCL leader in Noakhali
A BCL leader was stabbed allegedly by a Jubo League activist at Kendurbagh Bazar under Begumganj upazila on Tuesday.
Injured Alauddin, 28, is son of Ukil Ahmed of village Amanullahpur in the same upazila. He was admitted to Noakhali Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
Locals said, Alauddin and Sohag had been trying to establish their hold in the area. For this reason, enmity between them increased in the last three years.
On Tuesday, when Alauddin came to the bazar at about 12am, Sohag with his three aides stabbed him severely near a tea stall.
