None arrested, no case yet
Police failed to arrest anybody on charge of killing UP Chairman Abdur Razzak till filing of this report at 8:00pm yesterday.
No case was also filed, said Asaduzzaman, officer in-charge of Narsingdi Sadar police station.
Chairman of Alokbali union parishad and local Awami League leader Razzak, 65, was stabbed to death by assailants at Sutapatti near Janata Bank in the district town on Sunday night.
Witnesses said a gang of unidentified criminals attacked him and stabbed him indiscriminately with knives, leaving him severely injured at 9:30 pm.
