Programmes to celebrate Pahela Baishakh
Different socio-political and cultural as well as business associations have chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate Pahela Baishakh.
Bangla Academy, in cooperation with Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation, will hold a 10 day-long Baishakhi Fair and cultural programme.
Awami League will bring out "Mangal Shobhajatra" from Bahadur Shah Park to Bangabandhu Avenue at 7:00am.
In the evening, eminent personalities will exchange greetings with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. BNP will also arrange programmes on the occasion.
Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote, Bangladesh Furniture Industry Owners Association, Amader Pathshala, Bikalpadhara Bangladesh and Daniya Sangskritik Jote will also organise programmes.
