Construction worker dies in Ctg
A construction worker was crushed to death after an old building pillar fell on him at Chawkbazar in the port city on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 20, son of Abdus Samad of Comilla.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said Amin was working on the second floor of the building when an old pillar of it crashed and fell on him around 9:30pm on Thursday.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him dead.
An unnatural death case was filed with Kotwali Police Station in this regard.
