Dhaka considering recognition of Kosovo’s independence: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said here yesterday that her government was strongly considering the issue of recognition of Kosovo's independence.
“We're observing the situation. You may hear good news”, she said, replying to a question from a student of Ankara University where she delivered a speech on "People's Empowerment".
Asked about her observations about political genocide, the prime minister said the people of Bangladesh had faced political genocide by the occupation forces in 1971.
“This should not be done anywhere in the world. This is against humanity”, she said in her reply to another questioner.
