Folklore students demand PSC quota
The students of folklore department of Rajshahi University (RU) at a human chain programme on the campus yesterday urged the government to recruit the folklore students in jobs under special quota of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
Due to absence of specific policy, the students were put under general quota and usually deprived of jobs as well as research works in government and non-government organisations, they said, adding that they could not contribute to folklore related sectors.
