30 medical students get Rotary Club scholarship
Rotary Club of Metropolitan Dhaka (RCMD) offered scholarships to 30 students of Dhaka Medical College (DMC).
The awards and cheques of the Support Education Project RCMD Scholarship were handed over to the students through a ceremony at DMC auditorium on Tuesday.
RCMD will award Tk 25,000 annually to each of the 30 students from the 1st year to the 5th year of their MBBS degree.
The project aims to help those medical students who are facing difficulty in supporting the expenses of their medical studies.
DMC Principal Prof Dr Quazi Deen Mohammad and RCMD President Syed Tahseen Huq, among others, addressed the programme.
