Sadullapur police recovered the body of a 'missing' infant from pond at village Khordaruhea in the upazila yesterday morning.
Police said, on Friday night, a gang entered he house of Chanchal Kumar Sarker breaking open the door of room and picked up his 26-day-old daughter Annanya, when the mother was asleep.
At the time of incident Chanchal Kumar was not in the room as he was staying at the pump house for irrigation of boro field.
