Seven shops gutted
Four houses and seven shops were gutted in a fire at Steel Mill Bazar in the port city early yesterday.
The fire had originated from an electric short circuit of a shop in the area at around 6:30am and soon engulfed the adjoining houses and shops, fire service sources said.
