Bangladesh has welcomed the results of Myanmar's by-elections and hoped that it will consolidate the democratisation of Myanmar.
As a friendly neighbour, firmly committed to democracy, Bangladesh also welcomes the on-going socio-political reforms and reconciliation processes that have taken place in Myanmar in recent months.
